Storm Glass Solutions for Fiji | Island Glass & Mirror
The complete cyclonic storm glass solution
Ideal for protecting your family, staff and property during cyclones and severe storm conditions, our storm glass solution is certified debris impact resistant glass specifically developed to resist excessive wind speeds and penetration from flying debris.
In the unlikely event the storm glass is damaged by flying storm debris, StormShield remains weather-tight without tearing or breaching the window envelope.
The secret is superior laminating technology, a specially formulated ultra-high grade laminate used in the manufacturing process, engineered for the glass to expand and contract up to five times its normal rate before breaking.
Fully certified for use in Regions C and D in Australia and the Pacific Islands and evaluated at the world class James Cook University cyclone testing station with excellent results.
At Island Glass & Mirror, we work with clients to confirm their needs and establish the appropriate glass solutions. Depending on the requirements of your project our complete turnkey approach can include consultation, digital measurement, CAD design, certification, manufacturing, installation and review audit.
